My name is Jake, I’m an Ultramarathon runner, turned Coach, based in Sydney, Australia. It’s a cliché but running has changed my life. It has shown me the power of hard work and commitment and has given me the skills to cope with the rigors of life. It has made me a more resilient and capable person.

I founded Getaway Sticks Coaching to empower everyday people through running. I want individuals to realise that they are capable of so much more. Running is difficult, but difficult things are often the most rewarding.
